As the days move on, My heart grows faint, Thinking of you is all I can do, As my heart slowly begins to whither, My feeling follow suit and diminish, whether you know it or not, But I fell in love without the thought, Of ever losing you and if I did, The beat to my heart started to grow dim, I hoped the day would come, The day we would be together, And so it did, But it never crossed my mind, The hurt it would cause, To fall in love in such a short time, I should never have done it, I only had to wait a little longer,
But now I have nothing left to give to anyone in the future, But false hope as I cry tears of pain, Because the hurt is inhumane, I only wish the hurt would end, So my life would come back, But that is not the the way it is, The only feeling I have left, Is the hurt caused by love, Love may seem only painless, But the fact is, It is all hurt in the end, Oh, how I wish this hurt would end.
