walking away with a smile on my face the flames dancing behind me as i laugh in disgrace i started the fire and its my own sins that i burn for forgiveness i wish for acceptance i yearn. these scars wont let the memories hide and no longer do i have you in which to confide... you burning behind me with my hopes and my dreams i can hear the pain, no more laughter...just screams... i pushed you away just like others have done and now im scared...from my fate i must run...
