A Cool Night's

Remembrance

Lay out in the cool night's winds, It'll make you wonder where you've been. Where you've been, or what you've tried, Or how many nights, in sleep you've cried. Wanting to be held, but none dare touch, Decided to get away, gears shifting, bad clutch. Verdict in, leave the car, Strange new woods, it can't be far.

You hear nothing, but your own walk. All else shares, but you won't talk. Suddenly, a clearing ahead, barely breathing, almost dead. A few last breaths, near the cliff, At the edge cold and stiff.

Through all silence, the night moves on, A body found amidst the dawn. Last few images, burned in eyes, All attend, falsely cry. Kind of remembered, barely missed, Won't remember death's sweet kiss. Eyes slip open, tears run red, A perfect life, now as dead.

Nice work ^_^ I like the way you've used glogster's tools to separate the stanzas. I'm not sure if it seems right where you broke the first and second in the middle of a couplet, it seems like this could be on purpose as the "leave the car" sounds like a good last line. little note, "rememberence" should be "remembrance" :)
