It is a difficult dream for the European upper classes to interpret adequately, and too many of us ourselves have grown weary and mistrustful of it. It is not a dream of motor cars and high wages merely, but a dream of social order in which each man and each woman shall be able to attain to the fullest stature of which they are innately capable, and be recognized by others for what they are, regardless of the fortuitous circumstances of birth or position.''

A few literatures that defined the American Dream
My Definition of an American Dream: You can't just define the dream by one basic definition. an American dream is one that covers a broad spectrum. It is the dream that gives hope to many around the world in order to achieve their dreams that they have tirelessly pursued. Sure, people can have personal 'American Dreams' but, these dreams are different among others and showcase the opportunity America gives to all different types of people.
