Brett Favre, a Packers rookie was drafted for the team in 1992 with drinking and drug promblems. The Packers Team Doctor, Clare Novotny (my Grandpa who moved to Arizona) told Brett Favre that he couldn't play. But practices were great and Brett Favre became the new Packers quarterback. Brett Favre won the Superbowl XXXI(31) in 1997, making Brett Favre known all over the country. In March 6th, 2007 Brett Favre decided to retire from the Packers after losing the play-offs. The same year he decided to go to the NY Jets for 12 million dollars, the same as he would get in the Packers. Brett Favre's popularity went up when he was retiring from the Jets, and later that year went to the Minnesota Vikings. Brett Favre so far is leading the Vikings with a 6-0 win. I, a Green Bay Packers fan, don't understand why he keeps retiring to go to a new team. Is it fame, popularity, money, or because he doesn't want to quit?
