The Key N. Andreasen ~ 2005
On a chain round my neck, It's just a bit of metal, Shaped like a clover leaf No longer than my little finger. The notches worn down with use, The engraving worn off with time. What is the lock that this key fits? Perhaps a house, a car, a safe deposit box. Could it belong to a jewel box or a diary? A romantic might believe it unlocks a heart. My key is a secret I hold tight, A mystery I may one day share.
