Genocide in Rwanda
The Gonocide is planned out. So most of the RDF were just simplu following orders. Genocide was openly discussed at cabinet meeting because the Hutus believed that if they eliminated the Tutis their struggles would be over.
In the west after the genocide, tribal violence broke out because people couldn't understand that they were killed for political purposes. It was a hard thing for the Tutis to grasp.
The lives of the survivors were greatly affected. First their was the anticipation of the Tutsi retaliation. Second, many of the Tutsi still cannot find peace of mind. Thirdly, almost all the the Tutsi had depressing and misrible lives after witnessing all the killings of their friends and loved ones.
The Hutus espically target the killing of children so they can prevent the next generation of Tutis.
