Honied yellow dripping gold, Leaf of autumn in the cold Dancing on in crisp despair Whirling on enchanted air Falling silently to earthen tomb Away from tree's rooted arm Perhaps the silence broken then By hollow cries of autumn grief Synchronized with the falling leaf.
Autumn
I chose the symbol of autumn trees beside a river because it matches very well with the poem. This poem talks about leaves falling and this picture shows that. This poem also reminds me of autumn. This poem has a rhyme scheme. The rhyme scheme is ABAB. I also like this poem because it is very catchy.
