You and I, we're writing history.
Today we played in the fountains in the square like little kids. Laughed and shared a sausage roll and ate cookies til we felt sick. We laid on the sweet grass and tickled one another til we both cried with laughter. Time passed by and even when we sat in silence, your presence alone made me happy. We walked steadily down to the beach and played in the sand; got lost in the huge waves of the oceans and when we were totally soaked through you carried me home on your back like the piggy-back races we used to have in primary school. The evening soon was upon us and we settled for a bag of skittles, some popcorn and a romantic comedy for the night. We kicked off our shoes and dived on the sofa infront of the tv; where we remained for the night.
