Photographic Camera Lens and Refraction
A camera lens is a converging (convex) lens made of transparent glass. The image created in a camera is real, inverted and usually diminished.
Interesting fact: There is no film used in modern digital cameras as the images are captured digitally.
When rays of light bouncing off the object hit the lens, they get refracted (change direction) and come to a point on the film creating a real image. The position of the lens from the object may need to be adjusted to get a clear and focused image.
