Terrific Tundra!
Plantlife generally includes beautiful grasses and flowers; the bearberry, labrador tea, and pasque are shown.
Natural resources are: oil and uranium. Landforms are mountains and lakes. Places to visit are the mountains of Greenland, and Russia.
The Tundra is located in the Northern Hemisphere. This covers Greenland, Northern Canada, Alaska, and Northern Russia. The climate is generally very cold, temperatures range from -20 to 30 degrees.
These common animals are the Tundra swan, grizzly bear, caribou, and musk ox. The tundra is a delicate biome, and the animals are well adapted with fur coats and quick mating seasons. They can survive, but should not be disrupted.
Best time to travel: Summer!
