It was a hot, sunny day in St. Petersburg Florida. I was 6 years old, and was excited to be going to the beach for the very first time in my life. The ocean is the first thing that comes to my mind when I think of my first trip to the beach. The ocean was enormous and was the largest thing I had ever seen. It made me curious to want to adventure out into the water. When I went into the ocean I was swept off my feet and knocked onto the ground. At that moment I had experienced the true force of the ocean and what it was capable of doing. As I tried to get up I was then knocked over by another wave and my mouth was filled with warm salty water. That was when I realized that the ocean had salt in it. Then me being a curious little 6 year old I decided to swim in the water and try to look and see if I could see fish down below the water. I soon felt an agonizing stinging feeling in my eyes. So I quickly realized that it was the salt causing the stinging feeling and I lifted my head out of the water and swam back to shore. As I swam back to shore I hoped that someday I could return to the beach to enjoy one of my most memorable memories.
