Me and my alien Friend
Hi, my name is London!
Hi Landen, In case you don't know, i am a solid unlike you. A solid is a three dimensional figure with no openings or breaks. I am a solid because my atoms and molecules are close together and compacted really tight. Strangely, my atoms tend to vibrate sometimes because of the thermal energy inside of me. My properties are the following: hardness, elasticity, brittleness, mallebility, and tensile strength. Since you are a good friend, i am going to explain to you what this means. The hardness measures a solids resistance to scratching. If you scratch me against a surface i will get some brush burns but nothing major, which means my hardness is perfectly normal. I don't have any elasticity because i can not be stretched. I also am not brittle because if you accidentally drop me i will still live because i am shatter resistance. I also don't have malleability because if you try by hand to pound me into thin sheets you will not succeed. The only way you can pound me into thin sheets is by machine, but please don't do that. My tensil strength is high because you can try to pull me all you want, but it will take you a while to break me apart. That my friend is my whole lifes story.
