I got the news the day before it happened Prolly wouldnt make it is what they said. It didnt hit me hard at first, Never thought twice. Walking up to the place where she lie, didnt think i would break down... didnt think i was lying to myself. I never thought twice about what might happen, could happen... about what would happen.. My protection came. My Guidance..my safe harbor. That's what big brothers are for I guess... Gave me a hug..though i wasnt the one who needed it. The little boy who was in the background... not crying a single tear. Building up a wall..though i could see right through. Cousins like us cant lie for the bonds that hold us are too strong. She was his everything. A confidant...a mother... a daughter..though long past. A Christian in her heart and soul. A sister...an aunt... and she was grandma. The ones who knew her will never forget, the ones that didn't, will never know. She was an amazing person. She was alot of things to alot of people, and for us... she was grandma.
