Oklahoma Land Rush
It was started on April 22, 1889 with the firing of guns and cannons on the borders of Oklahoma.
An estimated 100,000 people ran across the borders with carts, supplies, wagons, and horses ready to conquer the vast land that added up to 2 million acres of land
Dissapointed and angered to find "Sooners" already settled on the land though whom had gone across before the cannon fire.
Unlike Rome, cities were established in a day or a few days which helped the population grow quickly and flourish because of it and the fertile land which was some of the nicest unnoccupied land in the republic.
