Cotton gin made it easy to profit from all of the cotton making it a money crop.
The cotton crop was valued from the cotton gin. The product made it easy to make money from cheap labor so slaves were used to produce this product. The slaves did this by working in fields and on assembly lines.
Slaves were forced west to work the fields to grow cotton.
America, the new land, the free land, a land with slaves, that was the American Dream. The American Dream, that everyone is free and equal but having slaves the people are disobeying the one promise of the new land. The Jacksonian Democracy was the name of this era. Jackson thought this change was good for the nation but it hurt many people.
Jacksonian Democracy gave the common man the right to vote.
