Stinky Pits
What makes armpits smell? It’s because of sweat, but not truly. Sweat all over your body and most of it doesn’t smell at all!! The sweat doesn’t smell, it’s the bacteria, the microbes, munching on the sweat.
Bacteria If you don’t bathe often enough, the bacteria have a chance to gather in your pits and make a feast out of old dead skin cells and sweat. And, boy, sometimes they can make a stink!!
The smell will get worse when you finish exercise. More you exercise, the smell will get worse, because the bacteria and fungi just love the warmth & moisture all the sweat & dead skin cells that collected so they grow and grow.
We are constantly sweating, even though we may not notice it. Sweating is your body's major way of getting rid of excess body heat, which is produced by metabolism or working muscles. The amount of sweat produced depends upon our states of emotion and physical activity. Sweat can be made in response to nerve stimulation, hot air temperature, and exercise.
