I'm afraid of anything with more than four legs. I'm afraid of the color pink. Literally. It frightens me. I'm afraid of the dark when I'm indoors, but not outdoors.
I'm afraid of being alone.
I'm afraid of abuse because I know I wouldn't do anything about it.
I'm afraid of abandonment.
I'm afraid of my future going down the drain. I'm afraid I won't go to college if I take a year off after senior year, because I don't want to be pressured to make a decision now. I'm afraid to be myself.
I'm afraid of myself, because I can hurt me more than anyone else can.
I'm afraid of heights, but not because I'm afraid of falling. I'm afraid of open doors when I'm sleeping. I'm afraid of reality TV. Who isn't?
