Shakespeare was very well known for his published plays and poems. He also is very well known for the gobe theater. The owners name was Giles Allen. Giles was always looking for new material in his 'playhouse' William became an actor and its said that he had a starring role in most of his own plays. His name gets brought up when people start talking about Romeo and Juliet.. Now made into a modern day tragedy
William Shakespeare. 1564-1616
William Shakespeare was born on April 23rd 1564 in a town called Warwickshire in England. His mothers name was Mary Arden and his fathers John Shakespeare. William started school around the ages of six or seven He got married at a very young 18 to Anne Hathaway on November 28, 1582. She was just short of a decade older than him. He had three kids but one died at the age of 11. William Shakespeare died on April 23 1616 due to a sudden feaver.

William's accomplishments range from 154 of his poems being published and 18 of his plays also being published and acted out. Some of his work is even still being decoded in high schools all over the country. His plays are also being made into major motion pictures
Interesting facts/tidbits -The Globe theater got burned down in 1613 because of a cannon fire. it got re-built in 1644 -William used over 600 referances to birds in all of his works. -William was left handed. -Sonnets are typically love poems, but Shakespeare's are often self-loathing, bitter, and even homoerotic -Boys and men played all the parts in Shakespeare's plays in Elizabethan times.
