Volcanoes ;)
Shield volcanoes -They are huge and flat. -Lava flows out from either a central vent, or from a few central vents. -They are mostly sloped low because of the lava flowing long distances.
Composite/ Sratovolcanoes -They are large, conical, and and their eruptions are explosive. -They are made up of lava and broken pieces of rock. -They're located near subduction zones.
Mount Kilauea , 1954
Mount Pinatubo, 1991
The three main types of volcanoes are Composite/Strato, Shield, and Cinder.
Cinder Cone Volcanoes -It's a steep cone-shaped hill made by lava fragments (cinders) -Most of them have a bowl-shaped crater. -Lava escapes through a vent/opening on the side.
