Slowly, so slowly.
Bit by bit.
the pieces get put back toghether
one by one, stitch by stich,
I realize the pain can't last forever.
Help from him.
Help from her.
Tear by tear
The pieces all begin to mend.
Laugh by laugh
Gravity pulls strand by strand.
I can start to feel again.
The fibers start to remend.
Anger goes from hot, to tempid, to cool..
Only bad memories to use for fuel.
Pain dulls till it's just a little smart,
Some pieces are changed.
But as long as it's there, I know I have a heart.
and others are gone...
But I'm slowly learning that life goes on.
And bit by bit.
Piece by piece,
My heart is slowly being fixed.
