Nitrate poisoning is a problem for all farmers if a farmer leaves their cows on new grass for 4 hours or more the cows are most likly going to get nitrate poisoning.. The vet would come with methylene blue a jab that you add water with. Methlylene blue has been used for nitrate poisoning for the last 40 years! Also meethlene blue was the first medicine to be invented to treat nitrate poisoning.
Now with nitrate poisoning people just don't leave their cows on new grass for that long, but accidents can still happen!!!

We are more efficient we have learned from the past in many ways. when we look back in the old days we say ''Oh that would have been really slow'' then they would have thought of something better and faster now we have bigger farms and more animals. We have much more medicine and new things to grow grass with better things!!!
sometimes things do NOT change Because they are so good and you don't have anything better to replace it with!
