Don't open a mesage from someone you don't know - If in doubt about it, ask your parents, guardian or another adult.
Don't send a message to someone else when you are angry -Wait until you have calmed down and had time to think.
Don't reply to messages from cyberbullies -even though you may really want to, this is exactly what cyberbullies want.
Cyberbullies can and do use e-mail to send harassing and threatening messages to the targets of their hatred and loathing.
Most e-mail programs allow you to use e-mail filters that will block or automatically delete messages from undesirable senders.
It is often possible to trace which e-mail account the message was sent from, however, it is almost impossible to prove who actually used this e-mail account to send the offending messages.
Do not erase or delete messages from cyberbullies -You don't have to read it, but keep it, it is your evidence.
Inform your Internet Service Provider (ISP) or cell phone/pager service provider
Never give out personal information or passwords, P.I.N. numbers etc.
Do not keep this to yourself!
