The Battle of Camdan took place in the state of South Carolina in 1780, not New Jersey. Many as 1325 men were killed/wounded in this battle.
For the British, Gen. Charles Cornwallis lead the troops to battle. He lead 2,000 regular troops.
The above is the best layout I couold find of the Battle of Camdan South Carolina. The red is the British and blue is the Colonists/Americans. 'This map may not be the true map of The Battle ofCamden.'
The man to the left is Gen. Horatio Gates, who lead a total of 3,500 troops into the battle of Camdan. Among his side was Gen. Nathanael Greene and Gen. Johann Kallo.
