My Friend's Reaction after Walking through the local creeks
To truly demonstrate the damage Americans are dealing to their environment, I decided to walk along the local creeks of my city. I was not surprised to find a goldmine of trash and material for this project.
A collaboration of what was seen
Through these pictures, its alarming just how careless Americans can be toward their planet. By not respecting our earth , it has in turn not respected us, as evident by disasters such as Hurricane Katrina and the Tsunami a couple of years ago. Our behavior is relentless and selfish. As a people, Americans must learn to repsect Mother Nature, or else we will soon see a world where life has become unsuitable, leading to our destruction.
Furthermore, our negative behavior is effecting many species of animals and destroying habitats at an alarming rate. Many scientists expect the number of many endangered species to rise in the near future because of human ignorance. Despite the efforts of environmental activists, the main body of Americans is still not listening, and continue to tarnish the land where we walk. Take an extra step, and throw it away, or recycle if it is recyclable.!
Are you curious about the ignorance to the environment where you live? Take a walk, and I'm sure you will see almost the same things here. Don't be afraid to pick somethng up, make a difference, and start a chain reaction!
