CENSORSHIP
The fact is that censorship always defeats its own purpose, for it creates, in the end, the kind of society that is incapable of exercising real discretion. ~Henry Steele Commager
Censorship is the suppression of speech or deletion of communicative material which may be considered objectionable, harmful, sensitive, or inconvenient to the government or media organizations as determined by a censor.
The first amendment states that we hold freedom of speech as well of freedom of the press, which under censorship are both under restrictions where although we are endowled with these rights just to be told that what we can and cant say, doesnt this defeat the point of the first amendment.
