Why was she called Bloody Mary? She was called this because of the 277 people that were burned at the stake during her reign for heresy. There were more protestants at the end of her reign then there were to begin with.
Born- February 18, 1516 Mother- Catherine of Aragon Father-m Henry VIII Raised by godfather as a strong and feverent Catholic Crowned Queen in September of 1553 Died- 1558, at the age of 42
