The Romans worshiped many of the same Gods as the Greeks, but Roman Gods had different names. They had several key Gods that all Romans worshiped, along with various lesser local Gods to whom temples were constructed. One of the most commonly worshiped Gods was Vesta, the Godess of the hearth and home, to whom Vestal Virgins would praise and dedicate their lives to, never leaving her temple.
