Canada
Oh Canada! Our home and native land! True patriot love, in all they sons' command. With glowing hearts we see thee rise, the true North strong and free! From far and wide, oh Canada! We stand on guard for thee. God keep our land glorious and free. Oh Canada! We stand on guard for thee. Oh Canada! We stand on guard for thee!
True, it can get cold.
But that's usually only for about four months (okay, maybe five) of the year!
Never say 'Indian' or even 'Eskimo' around one of us!
(It's 'First Nations' or 'Inuit'.)
In Canada, we don't take nuts- we take notes, and it's not 'a-boot' anything- it's 'about'.
We all say 'zed', but we're used to hearing 'zee'.
(You are certain to be corrected if you say it, though!)
I am proud to be Canadian.
We don't live in igloos and I've never seen a polar bear in the wild.
It often gets up to 30-35 degrees Celsius (85-95F) in the summer, it just doesn't stay that way for months!
We are a peace-keeping nation,
voted first over all countries by people world-wide.
