In life many people that we love pass on... when you bury them they protect the graveyard from any un wanted spirit.... they must protect it until another person dies.
When another person enters the graveyard, they protect the spirits.... the last spirit protecting the yard is carried up by the angels into heaven when they are protected for Eternity.
