The most common way a person gets arsenic into their system is by groundwater contamination. Arsenic occurs naturally throughout the Earth's crust and leakes into water supplies. There is arsenic in fish, but this isn't usually harmful. Arsenic is also found in alloying agents, wood perservatives, and some fossil fuels.
Arsenic has an atamic number of 33, meaning that it has 33 protone, 33 neutrons, and 33 electrons. It is solid at room temperature. There are pleanty of spaces for electrons to exchange with other electrons along the outermost ring. In Arsenic Acid (below), Arsenic is ionicly bonded to an oxygen atom and 3 hydroxyl groups.
