Okami is definately the best PS2 game i've ever played. Abd its certainly the most sake based. Basically you play as the many-named goddess Ameratsu (who is called at least 8different things in the course of the game) who is on earth in the form of a wolf (Okami is the Japanese for wolf) who with the help of the bouncyest support character ever must save the world from evil. By driking sake.
This song is called Sanpo which means march. It's the song that plays during the credits of Miyazaki's master piece, My Nieghbour Totoro. If you are not familiar with the work of the Japanese director Miyazaki (Hiyao not Goro) then make it your business to become aquainted as soon as possible, especially with Totoro. It is quite simply the best feel good film of all time, and it does it without any of the Disney cheese.
Phantasmagoria
The eateemed reader may have noticed the emerging theme of efeminate Japanese men (yes they're all men, including the cross dressers). They are all members of bands who play a genre of JRock called Visial Kei (Visual style music). They concentrate far more on their hair than the music yet oddly produce some of the best modern Rock in the world.
Sakito
As well as having the most stunning graphic, Okami also has a really great soundtrack
Embarasingly, this is one of my favourite songs
