Chinese and Muslim families both celebrate festivals together. For example, the Lunar Festival (right), and Eid el-Fitr or ??''Hari Raya Puasa'' (below).

It's not uncommon for Muslim and Chinese people to live in extended families

This similarity can also be a difference, because the different cultural holidays are celebrated in different ways within the families.
In Singapore, Muslim men are allowed to have more than one wife, provided his first wife agrees. Chinese men in Singapore usually do not have more than one wife.
