She became a well known author because her brother Henry, convinced th publisher to publish four of her novels, including Sense and Sensibility. After that they published Pride and Prejiduce. She is more famous for her romantic fiction novels, than for her poetry. She wrote a lot of novels like Mansfield Park,, Pride and Prejudice, Emma, Sense and Sensibility, Northanger Abbey.
She was the seventh and youngest child of George Austen and Cassandra Leigh Austen.
