Mental Health Report
This week was spent mostly trying to figure things out on my own. The circular motion has been less than simple to grasp but I think Im getting it. I started the week out a bit behind because of last weeks absence. Im mostly on top of the work itself, my team for P3 is on the ball and we all have clearly defined tasks. This week I seem to be stressing mostly about the fact that the course is coming to an end and I feel like I should be scrambling to finish something but Im not really. I have my fingers crossed that there isnt something I should have done that I over looked. I won't lie to you and say I was disappointed when a couple of the daily work folders were empty. It has been such a blessing to have the breathing room to get everything caught up. I went back through my work from past weeks and found a few holes I needed to fill and some stuff I forgot to post. Whew...
This is a clip from the show Time Warp. It shows the host being hit in the face with a huge water ballon. In the video you can see the flexing and rippling of the balloon as its flying through the air. I am pretty sure this movement could be concidered visual proof of kinetic energy being transfered from one side of the balloon to the other and eventually to his face. The split second before it burst you can almost make out the shape of his face in the balloon.

Neat Video 7
I used this video as evidence to support one of my arguments during the global warming debate. It shows the recent trends of CO2 emissions in the US.
This video is similar to the ones we are using for our P3 project. The velocity, acceleration and rotation of the bullet are all in question this week!
I made a very quick video so you could see a couple pages of my notebook since the pics from last week weren't that great. I also did it because even though I got the right answers last week, I didnt understand what I was doing. It bugged me all this week so today I sat down and did it all again, step by step along side the pencast. This has been my biggest ah-ha! moment! I did the second problem without any notes and everything made sense and I knew why I was doing everything I was doing. Not only did I figure out how to answer the problem correctly, I understand it on a level that would allow me to answer a different kind of question simply because I understand the relationships between the values. Simply put, I get it.
