The telescope was introduced to astronomy in 1609 by the great Italian scientist Galileo Galilei.Galileo's telescope was similar to a pair of opera glasses in that it used an arrangement of glass lenses to magnify objects.Sir Issac Newton announced a new telescope design instead of glass lenses, a curved mirror was used to gather in light and reflect it back to a point of focus.and then many changes were added to it until it become the shape of telescope that we know.
The 5 most important discoveries that are related to the use of the telescope is that first we can view the sun it a better view. Second, we can see the stars at night a little closer and a better view. Also, the meteoroid is another one that we can see. The other thing is the celestial objects and last but not least the moons we can see closer.
