The water patters quietly, and I see small threads of rain clinging to my window. Here I sit, in my little chair, watching the world with curious, peering eyes. As I glance up at the crying clouds, they growl gently, as if to defend themselves from judgement. This is uncomfortable - my head hurts. I feel slight pounding in the back of my head, but it's not quite painful; just enough blood pulsing in my ears to remind me that it exists. I lean forwards, chair complaining noisily. The warm wetness and silent vibrations are soothing on my face, as I rest my flushed cheeks against the cold glass. My ears record the exhaling and inhaling of my own body, and slowly, the window to my own little world clouds up with recessitation. I lean back, intriged by my discovery. My index finger slides smoothly along the glass that clouded up my view of the outside world. A heart! How lovely. The water falling in the backround was strangely complementary to it's simple beauty. I hear something unfamiliar, and I cringe. My eyes flew shut. Fear. A moment I waited, and my eyes flicker. How interesting - a heart was gently smothered in the moisture next to mine, on my dimmed window. I hear faint breathing besides me. In the darkness, my ears sang choruses of nothing besides a pair of two breathing souls. My hand dangles at my side, and it's taken in almost an instant. And so, here I sit in my little chair, outlooking the cold world. But this time it's different. This time I'm not alone. <3
