One of the most amazing artists to ever live was a man named Raphael Sanzio. He lived to the age of 38 and was very successful. He learned art from his dad and from a teacher named Perugino. Raphael painted so much like Perugino, that is sometimes hard to tell who painted what. One of his famous paintings is called St. George and the Dragon. There are two versions of this painting done by Raphael. Raphael lived during the time of the High Renaissance.
When one is painting one does not think-Raphael Sanzio.
