Russia- Mikhail Gorbachev became the leader of the USSR in 1985 and he attempted to modernize the economy and make the Communist Party more democratic. All that this led to was the breakup of the USSR North Korea- They started with communism and are now have Militerism and Totarialism. Their people are oppressed and try to flee to nearby countries. China- Today they have stric government cencorship. They have slowly been getting more Democratic. There are independent buisnessed today.
