End of the Gallic Wars
The Gallic Wars ended in 51 b.c.e. Caesar helped the Suession tribe and the Biturie tribe in their war against the Bellovari tribe and the Carnute tribe. After the war, Caesar realized that Ambiorix was alive. Caesar marched up to the lands of the Eburones and stripped the country of what they had left, making the people hate Ambiorix. Caesar chased some stragglers toward the fortress of Uxellodumum. Caesar tricked the people that he was building siege fortifications when he was really diverting the river. Without water, the town surrendered to Caesar. Caesar cut off their hands so they couldn't revolt.
Because Caesar won the Gallic wars and conquered all of Gaul this video is completely necessary.

During Caesar's campaigns on Gaul he received additional military aid from the Roman ally of Aedui. The people of Aedui came to the Romans because they had a political dilemma. They had two kings competing for the throne of Adeui their names were Cotus and Convitolitanis. Caesar feared that if he did not arbitrate this situation one person would turn sides to Vercingetorix for support. So he arbitrated in favor of Convitolitanis. Then he asked Convitolitains the new king of Aedui for some cavalry and 10,000 infantry. Caesar used the additional military force to help conquer Gaul.
