Another Day Down the Tubes!
Hi! In the Naruto manga I got up to about where Jiraiya becomes Naruto's intructor. It does seem like the manga is going much quicker. Lee to me sounds like the most believable or 'real' type of ninja. He doesn't summon things, and he doesn't rely on 'chakra' that much. He just is dedicated to becoming physically faster and stronger. I still don't like the style he was drawn in, but it does add even more character to him. I love Jiraiya! He's so hilarious! Also, they flip each other off in the manga, it's quite funny. :D Plus, there's coarser language. (At least I think so.) It feels more real that way. I finished the t's row for my Japanese. That's 4 down! Awesome! University is daigoku. Kind of interesting. It's also kind of odd that tabako is their word for cigarette. It's different for actual tobacco. I have to keep that straight! >.< The word for food is interesting, it's tabemono. Birthday is tanjoubi. Chichi always looks and sounds funny to me. It means my father. I looked for more interesting anime that I could start, but most that I wanted to see were still going. I want to find something's that's short and is completed. I'm already watching 2 on going anime shows. I didn't really look at many, so I guess tomorrow I'll look at more. Gintama was interesting today. It was about 2 of the supporting main characters wanting to train to become stronger. Gintoki, the main character, kept telling them it would be too much of a pain for him to train them. The other characters started coming in, oddly. (considering they were at their place.) One said you must draw your goal out, so you have something to look at and hold on to. That back fired big time. Another guy came in talking about how everyday things can make you stronger. His example was peeing sitting or standing. The guy standing made his muscles grow while the one sitting grew weaker. Pretty crazy! o_0 The next person said you must find yourself. The 2 that wanted the training didn't really understand. He also told them they were ready for some sort of training that all samurai have done. Making them wear heavy turtle shells and walking around town. Obviously, that didn't work. So, they decided to train on their own in the long run. Gintoki said they passed the first training when they left. The other characters that were left said we are your life instructors not just trainers. Funny! My mom went to have a bone scan today. Apparently it's different than an MRI or CAT scan, I think because it's close to her brain? Not sure. They apparently have to give her something and she has to leave for about 2 hours. Then come back and they scan her. I don't know how it went because she hasn't told me yet. (I didn't go because I don't like to wait for things. Plus, I didn't want to go to the places she was thinking of going in that 2 hour time period.) She gave me an interesting link though. It's a site called Care2. About helping the environment, volunteering, causes, and more.
