Miles is the older brother. He thinks that the spring is a curse to the family. Strong and outgoing, he looks out for his youger brother. Although he has fallen out of a tree and not gotten a scratch on himself, he still considers eternal life to be boring.
Jesse Tuck is the younger brother. Very free sprited and restless, he conciders the spring to be a good thing. Unlike his older brother, he thinks of eternal life as a blessing. Jesse has , since drinking from the spring, eaten poisen toadstools and lived. He also has a little crush on Winnie <3
