For a Moment
You wonder why I smile so much and talk so little. You wonder why I can't answer the simplest questions. You wonder why I pull away when you look at me. It's because for a moment I get lost in your eyes. It's because for a moment my thoughts go to war with realism. And it's because for a moment I remember I can't ever be with you. I wonder why you choose to talk to me. I wonder why you look at me the way you do. I wonder why you always seem to care. After that moment I realize that it doesn't matter if you love me and it doesn't matter if I love you. Our love is forbidden and your happiness is all that matters to me.
