You should be legally protected in the same way everywhere, and like everyone else.
In a world that now has more people overweight than people who are hungry it’s obvious that people’s right to food is being violated. Desperately poor people, often stunted, illiterate and heavily preoccupied with the struggle to survive, lack the resources to press their case of being treated as less than a person. They have inadequate access to courts of law that could advocate for them.
