After presidency, Jimmy Carter and his wife, Rosalynn Carter found the "Carter Cetner" in 1982 in Atlanta Georgia.

Previously to being President he was a also a farmer & began teaching Sunday School at the age of 18.
Prior to is occupation as President, he was in office as the Georgia State Senator from 1963-1966. As well as the Governor of Georgia from 1971-1975. It is said that his biggest achievment as President was the peace treaty he negotiated between Egyptian President and Israeli Premier.

Carter championed human rights and responsible government, but his term was dogged by high inflation, high unemployment and an energy crisis.
Since leaving office, Carter has worked internationally for the disenfranchised, fighting hunger and poverty through a variety of non-profit organizations.
After Presidency, Carter wrote many inspirational books.
