-Check the traffic light ahead. Get ready to stop. unless it just turned green. -Be prepared when the traffic light is about to change. Go through a yellow light only if it's unsafe to stop. -Check mirrors and look around. Don't make any sudden moves. Use turn signals in advance. -Stop behind the line or crosswalk. Follow at a safe distance with the car infront of you. -Check the intersection before you move forward. -Don't enter the intersection if traffic is backed up on the other side. -Watch and yield to any cyclists and pedestrians.. - Don't get mad at other drivers for your safety.
