The native habitat of the leopard gecko is the rocky, dry grassland and desert regions of south-Asian Afghanistan, Pakistan, north-west India, and parts of Iran.
A healthy Leopard Gecko will shed every month and a half.

A red heat lamp gives off UV raysand red light, but is suttle and doesn't effect their nocturnal patterns.
