The Greeks wore very bright armor and short weapons so ther armies could be seen from a distance and look more inimidating
In Ancient Greece their symbols stood for animals and people. For example, the symbol for a scorpion is a capitol M with a curved arrow.
Today our army wears comoflage to stay hidden from the enemies so they do not get shot or noticed.
In today's society we use Greek symbols as zodiac signs. A person's symbol is noted for the time of year a person is born.
In Ancient Greece, people worshipped many different Greek gods. For example, the Greek god Orion was worshipped for being Zeus's huntsman.
In today's society the Greek gods are still remembered but not as much in sculpture. We identify them in the constellations in the stars. The constellations help people of today with directions at night and they also have a great story to go along with them.
