A major contribution of ancient Babylon was the hanging gardens. The Hanging Gardens are one of the SevenWonders of the world. They were built by the Chaldean king Nebuchadnezzar II around 600 BC. These gardens portrayed the majesty of the Babylonian culture and the advanced technology of its people. It exhibited many beautiful plants and many foundations. Nebuchadnezzar created this gardens for his sick wife. These gardens were an impressive example of architecture. The technique of hydro engineering demonstrated their knowledge of irrigation.
A major contribution of ancient Babylon were the Hammurabi's 282 codes refered to an eye for an eye. They were very strict laws that you had to follow or else.

The Assyrians had a strong and powerful government. Also had an advanced tax collection.
The Assyrians were the fiercest and cruelest among the other civilizations. They were very war-like people.
The Assyrians were the first to develop a successful strategy of governing an empire.
