Zeppelin-Staaken R.VI
Missions were flown at night with 1700lb bomb loads. None were lost in raids of Great Britain, But two crashed on the way back.
The R.VI is a substantial upgrade from Germany's Zeppelin Blimps, which although could carry a massive bomb load, were incredibly weak to gunfire.
